We had been brainstorming on setting up outside lights for this home. We settled on recessed Soffit Vent LED lights. These lights are available for indoor (dry and wet locations) as well as outdoor. After finishing up the wiring, the lights were installed in the soffit vents and clipped in smoothly, as expected. To reduce time in our Setup, we used Wago Splicing Connectors and controlled the Lights with several Smart Dimmer switches. These switches came with their own app, but also integrated into Nest and allowed great control of light intensity as well as scheduling options for automatic on/off.
